If Donald Trump wanted to reward the red states in the heart lands
he could fund new eco villages and pay veterans to help with natural security support team of teams right there where we can bring our land, our water, and our biosphere get back to full health. Probably cost about as much as a new fighter plane. This time we put the police on the same team! see earthbattalion.com page 2 for details. ~Jim

I planted several acres of food forest with mixed hardwoods sprinkled in. They grew for about 13 years …each species pretty much tended to its own. Then. One I felt clearly that all the trees began to affiliate. Since then they all call the wind when in joy and dance wildly together in rushes. I mix the leaf shapes now to regulate the synphony. I include palms because they are dancers. My forest is alive.

Intended as a respite for displaced populations, these lightweight, collapsable shelters may be the new gypsy chic;

The movement of people across the earth led to the discovery of new territories as well as the creation of new communities among strangers forming towns, cities, and nations,” writes designer, Abeer Seikaly in her  brief”Navigating this duality between exploration and settlement, movement and stillness is a fundamental essence of what it means to be human.”

The Hawaiian sovereignty movement (Hawaiianke ea Hawai‘i) is a political movement seeking some form of sovereignty for Hawai’i. Generally, the movement’s focus is on self-determination and self-governance, either for Hawaiʻi as an independent nation (in many proposals, for “Hawaiian nationals” descended from subjects of the Hawaiian Kingdom or declaring themselves as such by choice), or for people of whole or part native Hawaiian ancestry in an indigenous “nation to nation” relationship akin to tribal sovereignty in the U.S.

Some groups also advocate some form of redress from the United States for the 1893 overthrow of Queen Liliʻuokalani, and for what is described as a prolonged military occupation beginning with the 1898 annexation. The movement generally views both the overthrow and annexation as illegal. ~Wikipedia
